    1. Explain the fundamental electrical principles used in heavy equipment systems.
    2. Read and interpret OEM electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
    3. Identify the function of major electrical and electronic components used in heavy equipment.
    4. Safely use electrical test instruments such as a digital multimeter and clamp meter.
    5. Diagnose common electrical faults including:
    6. Diagnose and test batteries, starting systems, and charging systems.
    7. Understand sensor and actuator operation in machine control systems.
    8. Understand ECM inputs, outputs, and diagnostic fault logic.
    9. Diagnose basic CAN/J1939 communication issues.
    10. Apply a structured troubleshooting process to real machine faults.
    11. Perform preventive inspection and electrical system checks with better technical judgment.
